Plane of Disease Guide
Plane of Disease is the first step of Shadowed Eclipse's Planes of Power path. The zone is not just a Grummus stop: the parent scripts set up several named disease bosses, raid scaling, boss life-drain pressure, spider waves, and the first PoP reflected-reward check.
How The Zone Plays
Most regular trash is handled by the zone default script. It applies the custom stat package, raid scaling, and a boss-only life drain timer for named enemies. If a fight resets or the zone empties, the scripts clean up spawned helpers so the next pull is not left in a broken state.
The main route is to clear the named guardians, then kill Grummus. When Grummus dies, a Planar Projection appears. Hail it for Crypt of Decay access and, once flagged, use it to create or enter the Crypt of Decay dynamic zone.
Scripted Bosses
Grummus is the progression boss. He has out-of-bounds and empty-zone reset checks, and his fight is where the first PoP mirror check can happen. At low health the script checks for the right mirror and buff state; if the reflected check succeeds, the encounter can add reflected loot to the corpse. Grummus can drop Charm of Magic, Diseased Relic, Runestone of Decay, Runestone of Nightmares, Runestone of Torment, Runestone of Time, Timelost weapons, Timelost shields, Blighted runes, and Shard of Veiled Reflection.
Aramin the Spider Guardian is a spider add fight. During combat the script starts add pressure, and on death the room can still be messy from spider spawns. Aramin can drop Ring of Festering and Shard of Venomous Reflection.
Gryme the Crypt Guardian is the Crypt access side boss. The script uses Stench of Decay pressure and his loot includes Gryme's Crypt Key, Necklace of Festering, and Shard of Cryptbound Reflection.
Odaen casts his custom boss spell on a timer and can drop Rotting Mind and Shard of Withering Reflection.
Rallius Rattican opens with spider waves almost immediately, then keeps spawning more during combat. He can drop Rotting Unity and Shard of Verminous Reflection.
The gargantuan arachnae and arachnae maleveler scripts support the spider pressure around the named encounters. They are part of the zone's add identity, not throwaway trash.
Reflected Progression
Plane of Disease starts the PoP mirror chain. The recipe for Decaying Mirror of Eclipsed Midnight uses a Tier Upgrade Kit, Eclipsed Mirror of Midnight, Fragmented Mirror of Decay, and Shard of Eclipsed Reflection. Keep the mirror with you for Grummus and Bertoxxulous style reflected checks.
Notable Drops
- Charm of Magic and its later upgrade path.
- Runestone of Decay, Runestone of Nightmares, Runestone of Torment, and Runestone of Time.
- Timelost weapon/shield pieces such as Timelost Sword of Truth, Timelost Sword of Ssraeshza, Timelost Skybreaker, and Timelost Shield of Mental Fortitude.
- Reflection shards from the named guardians.
- Blighted runes and Disease-tier armor/relic drops.
Practical Route
Clear Rallius, Aramin, Odaen, and Gryme if you want the full set of shards and side rewards, then kill Grummus for the Crypt of Decay projection. Bring the Decaying Mirror once you have built it; it is the difference between a normal kill and a chance at the reflected reward layer.
