Ssraeshza Temple Upside Down is the reflection version of Ssra. It uses the same temple bones, but the active scripts are about mirrors, moon pressure, reflected enemies, and the path to San Junipero.
Ssraeshza Temple Upside Down is the Vecna branch of Ssra progression. This is the Stranger Things / Black Mirror side of Luclin: a silent temple, a ticking clock, guardian positioning, Vecna, and a timed chance to reach The Black Mirror before it fades.

Only scripts in the current Ssraeshza Temple parent folder that reference this reflected version are covered here.
This page is separate from regular [[Ssraeshza_Temple|Ssraeshza Temple]]. Regular Ssra covers the snake bosses, Snake Slayer title, Emperor access, waffle work, and the normal reflected chain.

Finish the normal Ssraeshza Temple essence requirement first. The Paradigm of Reflection ignores players who do not have the SSRA completion flag.
This branch comes from the reflected Ssra path. You should already be done with the regular Ssra work that lets you interact with the reflected path and reach the upside-down temple.

Once flagged, hail the Paradigm of Reflection and say "READY." It opens the reflection path by spawning a mixed set of enemies and Doomshade.
Bring [https://shadowedeclipse.com/?a=item&id=49764 Eclipsed Mirror of Midnight]. For the Black Mirror path, it must be equipped in the ammo slot and its mirror buff must be active.

== The Mirror Requirement ==
When you enter this version of Ssra, the zone is intentionally quiet. The key clue is the clock.

[https://shadowedeclipse.com/?a=item&id=49764 Eclipsed Mirror of Midnight] is the special mirror item. Its item data has a click effect that applies the mirror buff. The upside-down Ssra scripts check for both pieces:
== Clock Guardian Event ==

* The mirror must be equipped in the ammo slot.
The clock is the start of the Vecna encounter chain.
* The mirror buff must be active.

If either part is missing, the mirror checks do not fire and The Black Mirror will not respond.
When a player gets close enough to the clock, it shouts:

== Reflected Boss Flow ==
'''The Clock Guardians awaken!'''

The opening reflection path starts with a mixed spawn package and Doomshade. Doomshade can hand the chain forward into Image of Luclin, then Khati Sha the Twisted, then Sel`Rheza, the Lunar Oracle.
Two Clock Guardians spawn on opposite sides of the room. They begin protected and cannot be damaged normally. The trick is positioning:

These bosses share a mirror mechanic. When a qualified player has the Eclipsed Mirror of Midnight equipped and buffed, the boss has a chance during the fight to crack the mirror, turn reflected, become stronger, and add an extra reflected reward.
* Pull both Clock Guardians together.
* Once they are close enough to each other, their protection drops.
* Kill both guardians after they become damageable.
* Each guardian death signals the clock.
* After both signals are received, the clock waits briefly, then Vecna appears.

Reflected reward examples include:
Do not just split and burn them where they spawn. The intended mechanic is to bring the two guardians together first, then kill them.

'''Vecna''' is the main boss of Ssraeshza Temple Upside Down. When he appears, the zone warns that a cold, deathly presence has arrived.

If the mirror check succeeds, Doomshade can become reflected and add reflected versions of its reward theme.
Vecna opens with heavy boss tuning, protective buffs, and a lunar nimbus effect. During the fight, he periodically spawns creeping blights at the guardian-side locations. These adds are not decorative: they hunt players, move to targets, and keep pressure on the raid while Vecna is active.

Its mirror check can add reflected Khati-style rewards.
The Black Mirror despawns after ten minutes. When it appears, qualified players receive a warning to hurry before it fades.

To interact with it:

Sel`Rheza is the Lunar Oracle step. She uses moon rock pressure and cryptic shouts about Nyseria, the Coven, the Mirror Moon, and the Black Mirror. Her script can summon Moon Rocks during the fight, and her mirror check can make the encounter harder while adding reflected rewards.
* Equip [https://shadowedeclipse.com/?a=item&id=49764 Eclipsed Mirror of Midnight] in the ammo slot.
* Keep the mirror buff active.

Ssraeshza Temple Upside Down Guide

Ssraeshza Temple Upside Down is the Vecna branch of Ssra progression. This is the Stranger Things / Black Mirror side of Luclin: a silent temple, a ticking clock, guardian positioning, Vecna, and a timed chance to reach The Black Mirror before it fades.

This page is separate from regular Ssraeshza Temple. Regular Ssra covers the snake bosses, Snake Slayer title, Emperor access, waffle work, and the normal reflected chain.

Access

This branch comes from the reflected Ssra path. You should already be done with the regular Ssra work that lets you interact with the reflected path and reach the upside-down temple.

Bring Eclipsed Mirror of Midnight. For the Black Mirror path, it must be equipped in the ammo slot and its mirror buff must be active.

When you enter this version of Ssra, the zone is intentionally quiet. The key clue is the clock.

Clock Guardian Event

The clock is the start of the Vecna encounter chain.

When a player gets close enough to the clock, it shouts:

The Clock Guardians awaken!

Two Clock Guardians spawn on opposite sides of the room. They begin protected and cannot be damaged normally. The trick is positioning:

  • Pull both Clock Guardians together.
  • Once they are close enough to each other, their protection drops.
  • Kill both guardians after they become damageable.
  • Each guardian death signals the clock.
  • After both signals are received, the clock waits briefly, then Vecna appears.

Do not just split and burn them where they spawn. The intended mechanic is to bring the two guardians together first, then kill them.

The Clock Guardians can drop powersource upgrade gem.

Vecna

Vecna is the main boss of Ssraeshza Temple Upside Down. When he appears, the zone warns that a cold, deathly presence has arrived.

Vecna opens with heavy boss tuning, protective buffs, and a lunar nimbus effect. During the fight, he periodically spawns creeping blights at the guardian-side locations. These adds are not decorative: they hunt players, move to targets, and keep pressure on the raid while Vecna is active.

At 25% health, Vecna can spawn The Black Mirror near the Emperor portal area. This is the San Junipero window. If you want that path, be ready to move immediately.

Vecna drops include:

The Lunar Device has a global click script that can spawn a travel device at your location when you are out of combat.

The Black Mirror And San Junipero

The Black Mirror despawns after ten minutes. When it appears, qualified players receive a warning to hurry before it fades.

To interact with it:

  • Equip Eclipsed Mirror of Midnight in the ammo slot.
  • Keep the mirror buff active.
  • Run to The Black Mirror near the Emperor portal area.
  • Hail it before it fades.

The Black Mirror asks:

Where can you go if you die, to live forever... should you choose to upload your consciousness?

Answer:

San Junipero

On the correct answer, The Black Mirror creates a San Junipero expedition in Solusek Temple version 1. It also grants San Junipero access to the qualifying player, or to eligible same-IP group/raid members. After the expedition is created, say ready to enter.

Version-One Pressure

This upside-down version of Ssra has extra proximity pressure before and around the Vecna route.

Certain areas can wake creeping blight ambushes. The smaller ambush spawns a few blights, while the larger one can flood the hall with more. Creeping blights hunt players and create pressure while you are trying to move through the temple.

There is also a basement pressure point that can awaken Demogorgon. Demogorgon and the creeping blights can drop powersource upgrade gem.

The practical lesson: move with purpose. The zone is not only about the Vecna pull; the route itself can wake adds if the group drifts or wanders through pressure areas.

After Vecna

When Vecna dies, Nyseria appears with guards. Treat this as the closing beat of the encounter and the handoff back into the broader reflected storyline.

If The Black Mirror spawned and you reached it in time, you can branch into San Junipero. If not, the main progression path continues forward into Planes of Power.

Practical Route

Reach the clock and trigger the guardian event. Pull the two Clock Guardians together until their protection drops, then kill both. Prepare for Vecna when the second guardian dies.

During Vecna, control creeping blights and keep the fight organized around the clock/portal route. If you are chasing San Junipero, keep Eclipsed Mirror of Midnight equipped and buffed before Vecna reaches low health. When The Black Mirror appears, run to the Emperor portal area, hail it, answer San Junipero, and say ready after the expedition is formed.
