Christmas Event Guide

The custom Christmas event is the Crystallos Frostfell event in Crystallos (`crystallos`, instance version 1).

Access

The event is wired through Dizzy's dynamic-zone launcher in Greater Faydark. When the Crystallos Christmas toggle is enabled, Dizzy offers Crystallos (Xmas Event) and creates a `crystallos` expedition.

Event Structure

Crystallos Frostfell uses era-aware scaling and raid scaling. The zone scripts exclude ambience NPCs such as Santug Claugg and helper/decorative NPCs from combat scaling, while bosses and combat waves use the active players' progression era for rewards and stats.

The event is organized into themed wings and encounters, including:

Santug Claugg and helper/decorative holiday setup.
Grinchok the Tarnished and early Frostfell bosses.
Jack Frostbitten and related add waves.
Kevin McCallister, who spawns trap NPCs at HP events.
Oogie Boogie, Jack Skellington, Sally, Lock, Shock, and other Halloween Town style encounters inside the Christmas event chain.
Yeule, Harbinger of Frost's End as a major Christmas boss.

Jolly Transformation

Several Christmas bosses call the shared `TryXmasJollyTransformation` plugin logic. Around low health, a boss may become Jolly and swap into a special reward path. The scripts usually give this a 50% chance and use separate Jolly loot pools for player and bot rewards.

Yeule, Harbinger of Frost's End

Yeule announces the final test after the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future. The fight uses HP events at 75%, 50%, and 25%, summoning increasing waves of minions. Yeule also seeds era-appropriate loot and can use the Jolly transformation reward path.

Kevin McCallister

Kevin McCallister spawns traps during the encounter. At 50% HP he summons random trap NPCs and then pulls them onto the current attacker. At 25% HP he checks the Jolly transformation path.

Rewards

Boss scripts seed rewards from era-specific item pools. Many bosses also have separate Jolly rewards that can appear if the transformation succeeds.
