Plane of Nightmare B
Plane of Nightmare B is the live nightmareb zone, also shown in game as The Lair of Terris Thule (zone ID 221).
This zone is built around a nightmare essence gate. Players must prove they can survive the lair before Terris Thule can be damaged.
Core Progression
- Enter The Lair of Terris Thule.
- Kill valid trash until you gather 1000 Lair of Terris Thule essences.
- Once your essence count reaches 1000, your character receives the permanent completion bucket for this zone.
- After that completion is set, you, your bots, your pet, and your pet sources are allowed to damage Terris Thule.
- Kill Terris Thule.
- Use the Nightmare mirror chain and the Black Mirror event to open the San Junipero path.
Essence Requirement
Trash kills in this zone grant one essence each.

When a valid kill counts, the player receives a message like:
You have gathered an essence from the Lair of Terris Thule [x / 1000]
At 1000, the zone marks the character as complete and Terris becomes damageable for that character.
Why Terris May Be Invulnerable
Terris Thule is intentionally protected by the essence gate. If a player has not completed the 1000 essence requirement, their damage is effectively rejected.
The script checks the player and also allows that player's bots and pets once the player is flagged. This means a flagged character should not have to personally body-pull or personally land every hit for their bots/pets to count as valid attackers.
Terris Thule Encounter
Terris Thule is the main boss of the zone.
During the fight:
- Dream defilers can spawn during HP events.
- At 40%, Terris wakes the grotesque statues around the room.
- Statues become targetable gargoyles when triggered, then despawn if left idle.
- Terris has an out-of-bounds reset check and can reform at the center of her chamber.
- If the mirror/reflection condition is met, Terris can become a reflected version and gain extra loot from the reflected pool.
Black Mirror and San Junipero
This zone also contains the Black Mirror continuation.
The Black Mirror only responds to players who meet its requirements:

When eligible, hailing the Black Mirror grants access to San Junipero. Group or raid members on the same IP can also be flagged by the same interaction.

Where can you go if you die, to live forever... should you choose to upload your consciousness?
The answer is:
San Junipero
After answering correctly, the Black Mirror creates a San Junipero dynamic zone. Say ready to enter.
Terris and the San Junipero Nodule
Terris Thule can drop A Kunarkian Memory Nodule at 25%.
That nodule is used in San Junipero. Hand it to Yorkie to trigger the next memory encounter.
Notable Loot
Nightmare Trash
Most native trash shares the nightmare loot table.
The Nightmare Goo, Crack, Rage, and Tranquility items are upgrade components. Combine four of the same base item in a Tier Upgrade Kit to make the +1 version, then continue upgrading through the chain.

Quick Checklist
- If Terris is invulnerable, finish the 1000 essence requirement first.
- If the Black Mirror will not respond, equip Eclipsed Midnight Mirror of Nightmares and make sure The Scared Self buff is active.
- If you get A Kunarkian Memory Nodule from Terris, keep it for Yorkie in San Junipero.
- Nightmare Goo, Nightmare Crack, Nightmare Rage, and Nightmare Tranquility are not junk - they are Tier Upgrade Kit combine pieces.
