Ssraeshza Temple Upside Down
Ssraeshza Temple Upside Down Guide
Ssraeshza Temple Upside Down is the reflection version of Ssra. It uses the same temple bones, but the active scripts are about mirrors, moon pressure, reflected enemies, and the path to San Junipero.
Only scripts in the current Ssraeshza Temple parent folder that reference this reflected version are covered here.
Access
Finish the normal Ssraeshza Temple essence requirement first. The Paradigm of Reflection ignores players who do not have the SSRA completion flag.
Once flagged, hail the Paradigm of Reflection and say "READY." It opens the reflection path by spawning a mixed set of enemies and Doomshade.
The Mirror Requirement
Eclipsed Mirror of Midnight is the special mirror item. Its item data has a click effect that applies the mirror buff. The upside-down Ssra scripts check for both pieces:
- The mirror must be equipped in the ammo slot.
- The mirror buff must be active.
If either part is missing, the mirror checks do not fire and The Black Mirror will not respond.
Reflected Boss Flow
The opening reflection path starts with a mixed spawn package and Doomshade. Doomshade can hand the chain forward into Image of Luclin, then Khati Sha the Twisted, then Sel`Rheza, the Lunar Oracle.
These bosses share a mirror mechanic. When a qualified player has the Eclipsed Mirror of Midnight equipped and buffed, the boss has a chance during the fight to crack the mirror, turn reflected, become stronger, and add an extra reflected reward.
Reflected reward examples include:
- Cloak of Reflected Vitriol.
- Shawl of Reflected Awakenings.
- Reflected Shield of Mental Fortitude.
- Jenniy's Two-tone Cuirass of Reflectability.
- Reflected Ichorflow.
- The Oracle's Reflected Lunar Power.
- Reflected Pebble Crusher.
- Twisted Boneplate Dagger of the Reflected.
- Luclinite Coagulated Reflected Shadowscale Coat.
Doomshade
Doomshade is the first major reflected boss after the Paradigm event starts. It can drop Pebble Crusher, Shield of Auras, Shield of Holy Vigor, and a Shattered Midnight Shard.
If the mirror check succeeds, Doomshade can become reflected and add reflected versions of its reward theme.
Image of Luclin
Image of Luclin continues the reflected chain and can drop Voidless Nature, Shadowcrescent, Luclinite Coagulated Shadowscale Coat, Fist of Mithril, and Geomantic Fingers of Focus.
Voidless Nature has a global click script that summons its matching pet weapon.
Khati Sha the Twisted
Khati Sha the Twisted is another reflected chain boss. It drops twisted armor and weapon pieces, Mnemonic of Khati Sha, Twisted Boneplate Dagger, Band of Disrupted Auras, and Belt of Mystical Protection.
Its mirror check can add reflected Khati-style rewards.
Sel`Rheza, the Lunar Oracle
Sel`Rheza is the Lunar Oracle step. She uses moon rock pressure and cryptic shouts about Nyseria, the Coven, the Mirror Moon, and the Black Mirror. Her script can summon Moon Rocks during the fight, and her mirror check can make the encounter harder while adding reflected rewards.
Notable drops include The Oracle's Lunar Power, Bone of Bertoxxulous, Adamantite Wristguard, and a Shattered Midnight Shard.
Time and Clock Guardians
The Time script is the clock event in upside-down Ssra. When players enter the clock proximity, the Clock Guardians awaken. When both guardians die, Time receives the signals and Vecna appears after a short delay.
The guardians and Time can drop powersource upgrade gems.
Vecna
Vecna is the major reflected boss. He spawns with heavy buffs, casts a lunar nimbus effect, and starts spawning creeping blights while engaged.
The fight has a proximity check. If too few non-GM players stay close enough, Vecna shouts that the ritual collapses and the zone is depopped. Stay engaged and keep enough bodies near him.
At low health, Vecna has a chance to spawn The Black Mirror near the Emperor portal area. This is the important San Junipero window.
Vecna drops include:
- Vecna's Scepter of Shadows.
- Vecna's Torch of Judgment.
- Lunar Device.
- Harbinger of Luclin.
- Slithering Gemstone of the Elite.
- Luclinite Coagulated Shadowscale Coat.
- The Oracle's Lunar Power.
The Lunar Device has a global click script that spawns a travel device at your location if you are out of combat.
The Black Mirror and San Junipero
The Black Mirror despawns after ten minutes. When it appears, qualified players receive the warning to hurry before it fades.
To use it:
- Keep Eclipsed Mirror of Midnight equipped.
- Keep the mirror buff active.
- Get to The Black Mirror near the Emperor portal area before it fades.
- Hail it.
- It asks where you can go if you die, to live forever, should you choose to upload your consciousness.
- The answer is "San Junipero."
On a correct answer, The Black Mirror creates a San Junipero expedition in Solusek Temple version 1. It grants San Junipero access to the qualifying player, or to same-IP group/raid members, then tells you to say "ready" to enter.
San Junipero is where you face reflected versions of old foes.
Version One Zone Pressure
The parent zone controller has version-one-only proximity traps. In upside-down Ssra, certain areas spawn creeping blights, another larger blight wave, and Demogorgon, Guardian of the Basement. These are on cooldowns, so movement through the reflected temple can wake extra pressure even before a boss pull.
Practical Route
Finish normal Ssra first, then use the Paradigm of Reflection to begin. Bring Eclipsed Mirror of Midnight, click it for the buff, and keep it equipped through the reflected boss chain. When Vecna is low, watch for The Black Mirror message and run to the Emperor portal area immediately. Hail it, answer "San Junipero," then say "ready" once the expedition is formed.
