Upside Down Temple of Veeshan Guide

Upside Down Temple of Veeshan is the pressure version of ToV. Nyseria narrates the run, forces timed targets, and punishes hesitation. The zone is not a slow clear: each assigned encounter must be reached and engaged before the countdown expires, or the active target depops and the clients in the zone are killed.

This guide covers the upside-down/version 1 route and the scripts that drive that route.

How The Run Starts

When you zone in, players receive the dread marquee message and Nyseria is signaled. Nyseria announces the playground, starts the first timed spawn, and places Icefang soldiers around the route.

The Icefang soldiers matter because killing one extends the active countdown by 20 seconds. If the group is late getting to the assigned boss, these are the built-in breathing room. Do not ignore them when the timer is tight.

Nyseria also keeps a creeping blight in the route. The blight hunts players, sends the watched message, and respawns Nyseria's pressure presence when killed.

Countdown Rule

Nyseria chooses one active target at a time. When the target appears, a countdown starts immediately:

  • Most targets give 60 seconds to engage.
  • Aaryonar gives 40 seconds.
  • Entering combat stops the countdown.
  • If the timer reaches zero before combat starts, the target depops and players in the zone are killed.

This means the hard part is not only killing the dragons. It is moving fast enough, recognizing the target, and getting someone into combat before Nyseria runs the clock out.

Phase One Targets

Nyseria's first phase randomly chooses from:

  • Lord Feshlak
  • Aaryonar
  • Lord Vyemm

Each defeated first-phase target is removed from Nyseria's pool. After all three are dead, Nyseria moves to phase two.

These bosses share the main upside-down Temple reward set:

Phase Two Targets

Nyseria's second phase randomly chooses from:

  • Lord Kreizenn
  • Lord Koi`Doken
  • Lady Mirenilla
  • Lady Nevederia

These use the same main upside-down Temple reward set as phase one. When all four are dead, Nyseria announces that the air grows still and starts the final phase countdown.

Triggered Temple Waves

Several kills in the route signal Nyseria to release additional Temple packs and follow-up named. These include the halls of Midayor, Ymmeln, Krigara, Grozzmel, Casalen, Lepethida, Tavekalem, Essedera, Zemm, Gozzrem, Telkorenar, Ikatiar, Eashen, Lendiniara, Dozekar, and the later wing dragons.

These are part of the upside-down pressure route rather than a normal ToV crawl. Expect the zone to keep opening new trouble as the scripted chain advances.

Vulak Bridge

After Nyseria's two timed phases are complete, Vulak`Aerr appears as the bridge into the final Frostbane showdown. Vulak uses custom raid-scaled boss stats and drops a massive Temple reward table.

Vulak's guaranteed weapon and themed drops include:

Vulak can also drop the Blighted Frostbane armor pieces, shadow shards, class seals, Bag of the Dragon Slayer, and rare weapons such as Frostwrath.

Veridian Frostbane Showdown

When the upside-down Vulak dies, Veridian Frostbane, the Eternal Warden appears. A false Veridian can appear with him, but the named Eternal Warden is the main Velious antagonist payoff for the route.

Veridian checks the zone for high-level challengers. If any level 64 or higher player is present, he upgrades into a much harder version, announces the change, and becomes the Eternal Warden. During combat he runs a recurring life-drain pulse around himself, hitting nearby players, bots, and pets every 38 seconds.

Veridian's major rewards include:

When Veridian dies, Nyseria the Veilkeeper and Nyseria's Guards spawn near the end of the route.

Practical Route

Move as soon as Nyseria starts the event. Watch the shout countdown, identify the active target, and get combat started before the timer expires. Use Icefang soldiers to add 20 seconds when the path is too long. After Lord Feshlak, Aaryonar, and Lord Vyemm are dead, clear the second phase of Lord Kreizenn, Lord Koi`Doken, Lady Mirenilla, and Lady Nevederia. Then handle Vulak, prepare for Veridian Frostbane, and keep the raid spread enough to respect the life-drain pulse.
