Kael Drakkel Guide

Kael Drakkel is the Frostbane arena and giant stronghold stage of Velious. Its main scripted systems are the arena announcer, Frostbane boss chain, and several raid-scaled giants.

Access

Create Key to Kael Drakkel through the Wakening Lands Wuoshi chain. Right-click the key from inventory to grant the Kael zone flag to the player, or same-IP group/raid members.

Arena Access

Announcer Michael Buffer of Frostbane handles the arena chain.

Initial hand-in:

• The Price of Admission
• Proof of Skill

This sets the arena access global. The script also accepts championship belts for rematch flags:

• Lightweight Championship Belt
• Middleweight Championship Belt
• Heavyweight Championship Belt

Proof of Skill drops from The Evasiveness of Frostbane. The belts drop from Statue of Rallos Zek, Derakor the Vindicator, and Overseer Hragveld Frostbane.

Custom scripts exist for:

• King Tormax

The bosses use raid scaling, high physical resistance, high heroic strikethrough, and custom combat tuning. Treat this zone as a boss progression zone rather than normal Kael trash farming.

Sleeper Key Tie-In

Kael also contributes to the classic Sleeper's Key path through Shard of Hsagra's Talisman, which drops from Statue of Rallos Zek, Derakor the Vindicator, and King Tormax.

Practical Notes

If you are working the arena, keep The Price of Admission and Proof of Skill together for the announcer. If you are working toward Sleeper's Tomb through the talisman route, keep Hsagra/Yelinak/talisman pieces rather than vendoring them.
