Veeshan's Peak

Veeshan's Peak is compact in layout but dense in scripted progression and loot. The zone is built around the Dragon Ring task, ordered signal puzzles, several custom bosses, the Zarrin finale, and the secret Temporal Image of Veeshan encounter.

Dragon Ring Access Task

Task 28, Dragon Ring, asks for intrinsicalities from late Kunark and classic dragon targets:

The task note says to spin the globes and loot Zordakalicus Ragefire's intrinsicality from him. Warder Cecilla can reset globes if hailed.

Opening VP Sequence

The VP controller spawns Fate, Chooses, and You when the zone starts. Killing these signals the controller, clears them, and starts the opening boss sequence:

  • The Bridge Troll
  • The Veiled Drake
  • Duskthane
  • Ordered choice waves

The controller uses ordered signal checks. If the wrong object/order is used, the current wave depops and players receive a failure message. If done correctly, the controller reports that you chose wisely and spawns the next boss.

Major Bosses

An Anomalous Veil

Uses a 30-second spell cycle, summons temporal minions at 75%, 50%, and 25%, and becomes ranged-immune at 50%.

Notable drops:

The Bridge Troll

Spawns from the controller and depops if ignored too long. It uses Aura of the Champion, Dark Vengeance under 50%, Shield of the Guardian, and Crusader's Charge.

The Veiled Drake

The first form has a 5-minute idle depop. Its HP checks spawn additional drake forms as the fight progresses.

Duskthane

Runs a 30-second spell cycle with self and target spells.

Vaeltheris, Weaver of Fates

Spawns after a correct ordered choice wave. It uses a repeating PBAE lifedrain and stops the drain after being wounded deeply.

Khorathis, Hoof of the Eclipse

Spawns after the second ordered choice wave. It uses Blood Fury, Whirlwind Discipline, and Savage Spirit at HP thresholds.

The Dragon Rider

Spawns after the final backwards choice wave. It uses Dragon's Call every 120 seconds, spawns skyseeker hatchlings, and signals the next controller step on death.

Temporal Banshee and Zarrin

The upper signal chain eventually spawns Temporal Banshee of the Veil. It casts every 60 seconds, spawns a minion at 80%, then continues spawning minions every 40 seconds.

Notable drops include:

After the council chain, Zarrin, Spirit of Infinite Time is the major finale.

Important Zarrin drops:

Secret Temporal Image of Veeshan

The secret trigger NPC accepts [A paradoxical dragon skull]. After the hand-in, the character is flagged and can hail to spawn the secret boss after a 1-minute cooldown.

Spawn roll:

  • Most spawns are Temporal Image of Veeshan.
  • Rare spawns can be The Temporal Image of Veeshan.

The Image has a 1-hour overall timer. It resets to full health when combat ends. During the fight, HP events start distance checks: close players are pushed back, mid-range targets are pulled, far targets are stunned, and bots/pets are also checked.

Notable drops:

Practical Notes

  • VP is not a trash-clear zone. The important progress is controller signals and correct ordered choices.
  • If a choice wave fails, the wave depops and must be reset/restarted.
  • Save [A paradoxical dragon skull] for the secret Image trigger.
  • Expect massive loot tables on Zarrin and Veeshan; the common chase categories are dragon stones, Dragon Blessed pieces, Veeshan's Mirrored armor, class chests, high-end weapons, and progression items.
