Halloween Event Guide
The custom Halloween event is Tower of Shattered Lanterns in Convorteum (`convorteum`, instance version 1). This is separate from older rat-bounty Halloween scripts.
Access
The event is wired through Dizzy's dynamic-zone launcher in Greater Faydark. When the Convorteum Halloween toggle is enabled, Dizzy offers Tower of Shattered Lanterns (Halloween Event) and creates a `convorteum` expedition.
Tower Progression
Tower of Shattered Lanterns is built as a multi-floor progression event. The zone controller spawns trash, minibosses, plinths, and bosses across floors 1 through 6. The default zone script applies era and raid scaling to the event NPCs.
Progression is controlled through essence counts, miniboss credit, and keys:

| Floor 1 | Kill early tower enemies and floor 1 minibosses. The scripts track Floor 1 essence separately and start the tower key flow. |
| Floor 2 | Gather 12 Floor 2 essences and defeat the Floor 2 miniboss to receive the Obsidian Key for Floor 3. |
| Floor 3 | Gather 12 Floor 3 essences and defeat both Floor 3 minibosses, Twilight Phantasm and Glasswork Duelist, to receive the Phantasmal Key for Floor 4. |
| Floor 4 | Gather 12 Floor 4 essences and defeat the required Floor 4 minibosses to receive the Ember Key for Floor 5. |
| Floor 5 | Kill the bone-spawned enemies for 30 Floor 5 essences and defeat The Lanternless to receive the Umbral Key for Floor 6. |
| Floor 6 | Face The Wickbreaker, plinth mechanics, and the final boss Morghast, Shatterlight Sovereign. |
Final Boss
Morghast, Shatterlight Sovereign is the floor 6 boss. The script locks the boss at HP checkpoints and signals plinths at 80%, 60%, 40%, 20%, and 10%. The boss becomes vulnerable again after the active plinth stage is resolved.
On combat engage, Morghast can seed era-appropriate loot. In Luclin or Planes of Power eras there is also a small chance for Hallow's Spell. In Velious, Luclin, and Planes of Power eras there is a small chance for one of the Halloween candy items.
Cursebreaker Quest
Hollen Shadowstalker handles the Cursebreaker turn-in. Players combine ten unique Curse Breaker relics into the Seal of Curseproof using the tiered reforging kit. Turning the seal in grants curse immunity tracking and the Cursebreaker title. The script also shares the protection to same-IP group members that do not already have it.
