Velketor's Labyrinth Guide
Velketor's Labyrinth is a compact Velious progression stop with a very practical purpose: farm the Floor 3 key materials, clear the named ice bosses for Velious loot, then beat Velketor for the mold needed to finish the next Tower of Frozen Shadows key.
The zone is short, but it is not harmless. Many regular mobs assist each other, several traps turn into crystal shard fights, the orb hazards punish careless movement, and Velketor himself becomes protected by adds until they are killed.
Access
Velketor access comes after Great Divide progression. The Great Divide access step uses the four Velketor rune pieces:
- Velketor's Cryptic Rune of Frost
- Velketor's Cryptic Rune of Fire
- Velketor's Cryptic Rune of Air
- Velketor's Cryptic Rune of Earth
Once Velketor is open, your main goal here is the Three Toothed Key for Tower of Frozen Shadows Floor 3.

Lord Doljonijiarnimorinar is one of the Floor 3 key-piece bosses. Notable drops include:

Thalrath Icepaw is a key-piece boss with a couple of extra utility rewards. Notable drops include:

Veraxis, Coven Magister
Veraxis is both a key-piece boss and a spell-pressure fight. During combat, Veraxis casts either Icebound Feet or Ice Barrage every 30 seconds. If your group gets bogged down by roots or cold damage, this fight can feel much rougher than the zone size suggests.

- Magister's Relentless Fury - 50%, caster-focused reward with a proc/focus package

Velketor the Sorcerer
Velketor the Sorcerer is the final progression target in the zone. He drops the mold needed for the Floor 3 key combine, so do not leave without it.
When Velketor spawns, Nyseria's Guard appears nearby. Once combat starts, Velketor layers several mechanics:
- Every 60 seconds he casts either Icebound Feet or Ice Barrage.
- Every 50 seconds he spawns a frozen ward near himself.
- While a frozen ward is alive, Velketor becomes protected.
- Every 10 seconds the fight checks whether any frozen wards are still alive.
- Every 60 seconds he uses Soul Drain, damaging players, bots, pets, and bot pets within close range.
Kill the frozen wards immediately. They are the difference between a clean Velketor kill and a fight that stalls while Soul Drain keeps hammering the group.

Trap And Orb Encounters
Velketor has several trap-style encounters hidden behind environmental-looking names. When engaged, these can turn into large crystal shard fights before the original trap despawns. Treat strange ice objects and text-name mobs as potential ambushes, not scenery.
The trap/shard/orb pool can drop:
- AA 5 Point Scroll - 15%, click to grant 5 AA points
- The Coin of Fate - 15%, right-click gamble/reward coin
- precious metal - 2%, Philosopher's Stone fodder
Two orb hazards are worth calling out:
- a glimmering orb casts Telekinesis when you enter its area.
- a shimmering orb casts Nulling Void when you enter its area.
Practical Route
Clear toward the key-piece named first. You need four Piece of the Key to Floor 3, and each key-piece named has a 50% chance to drop one.
After you have the pieces, kill Velketor the Sorcerer for Mold to a Key. Combine the mold and four pieces to make Three Toothed Key.
Do not ignore traps and orb rooms while moving. The zone is compact, but careless movement can add shard fights or orb effects at bad times.
