Blackburrow Guide

Blackburrow sits late in the Shadowed Eclipse Velious route before Temple of Veeshan. Production has no dedicated `quests/blackburrow` folder, so this guide is driven by the task data and database loot tables rather than zone-local Perl scripts.

Main Task

The custom task Scouting Blackburrow sends players to investigate increased gnoll activity, kill guardsmen, check the passages toward Everfrost, and return to Castlen Drewe in Plane of Knowledge.

Reward: Gnollish Guardian Ring and experience.

Loot Pass

Blackburrow has a custom Velious-era loot pass despite not having zone scripts:

AA 5 Point Scroll drops from many gnolls and snakes. Its global script grants 5 AA points and consumes the scroll.
Veruca's Potion of Healing II drops from many mobs and has click effect 40659.
torn burlap drops broadly and is used in the Bag of Blackburrow recipe.
Sewing Kit of Blackburrow drops from Lord Elgnub. It is the container for the Bag of Blackburrow combine.
Tooth of the Burrow, Tooth of the Burrow, and Tooth of the Burrow drop from named gnolls such as Lord Elgnub, Splitpaw Commander, Scout Malityn, Socho Darkpaw, Master Brewer, Mannan of the Sabertooth, and Tranixx Darkpaw.

Recipe audit confirms Sewing Kit of Blackburrow plus 10 torn burlap are used for the Bag of Blackburrow combine.

Practical Route

Run the task, but do not ignore drops. Keep torn burlap until you have the sewing kit, keep the Tooth of the Burrow variants, and click AA scrolls only when you intend to consume them.
