Kael Drakkel

Level Range: 60+

Kael Drakkel is the Velious arena climb. The zone has two parts: first you farm admission pieces from the roaming Frostbane forces, then Announcer Michael Buffer of Frostbane runs you through the title fights.

Progression Overview

Hunt the roaming Frostbane/Kromrif enemies until you collect 10 Token of Admission drops.
Kill The Evasiveness of Frostbane for Proof of Skill.
Kill #The Defiance of Frostbane for Bag of Admission.
Combine the 10 Tokens of Admission inside the Bag of Admission to make The Price of Admission.
Give The Price of Admission and Proof of Skill to Announcer Michael Buffer of Frostbane.
Hail Michael and choose READY TO RUMBLE to begin the arena run.
Clear the arena waves until The Statue of Rallos Zek spawns.
Kill Statue, then clear the path deeper through Kael.
Kill Derakor the Vindicator.
Continue into the arena and defeat King Tormax, The Avatar of War, and finally Overseer Hragveld Frostbane.

Important Mechanics

Token of Admission drops from the roaming Frostbane/Kromrif enemies at 40%.
#The Defiance of Frostbane is a rare Frostbane spawn and drops Bag of Admission at 75%.
The Evasiveness of Frostbane shifts around the zone and uses a frequent life-drain style mechanic. It drops Proof of Skill at 75%.
After Michael accepts your admission items, he remembers your arena access and lets you start the rumble by hail/saylink.
The championship belts are not just trophies. Turning belts back in to Michael unlocks rematch options:
- Lightweight Championship Belt unlocks Statue of Rallos Zek rematch.
- Middleweight Championship Belt unlocks Derakor the Vindicator rematch.
- Heavyweight Championship Belt unlocks Overseer Hragveld Frostbane rematch and grants the Heavyweight Champion of Kael title.

Loot Notes

The guide previously referred to some of these as generic head/leg/arm augments. The actual live item names are listed above.
Overseer Hragveld Frostbane does not drop an arm augment in the live table. His extra mirrored bot armor piece is Mirrored Sleeves of the Tower at 15%.
King Tormax's special 30% drop is Crown of the Kromzek Kings.
The Avatar of War's special 30% drop is Flayed Barbarian Skin Leggings.
Derakor the Vindicator's special 30% drop is Chestplate of Vindication.
Arena Champion's Gauntlets have a click effect: Titan's Fury.
Dragonscale Cloak of Aaryonar has a click effect: Hand of Conviction.
Dragonscale Cloak of Feshlak has a click effect: Ward of Mystifying Rk. III.
Mirrored Sleeves of the Tower has a focus effect: Improved Healing VI.
The mirrored cloak pieces are bot-oriented versions and do not carry the same click effects as the player cloak versions.
