Najena

Level Range: 40-50

Najena is the bridge from Unrest into Plane of Hate. The zone task is Explore The Najena Revamp and is assigned automatically when you zone in at level 40 or higher. Completing it rewards the Plane of Hate key item, coin, and experience. The task is repeatable, but the key progression through the lenses, dolls, and Puppetmaster is the important unlock.

Quick Progression

1. Kill Choose, then kill the boss that appears behind him: Arcanist of Zarrin.
2. Kill Your, then kill the boss that appears behind him: Magi P`Tasa.
3. Kill Fate, then kill the boss that appears behind him: Elite Eclipse Guardian.
4. Kill Quarter Eclipse Guard, Half Eclipse Guard, and Three Quarter Eclipse Guard.
5. Kill Nzambici after the guard chain.
6. Kill Insidious Beacon.
7. Kill The Dread Queen.
8. Kill Prison Lord Noryx.
9. Turn each A Slimy Lens in to the matching unfocused eye to receive four A Tattered Puppet dolls.
10. Give all four dolls to a paradigm of hate once. After that, hailing the paradigm can summon The Puppetmaster of Xyron.

Linara Parlone

Linara Parlone is the Najena greeter and collector NPC. Hail her for zone guidance, the Najena relic collector quest, and the backpack guide.

Her collector quest asks for five relics. Each relic is added by the NPC script and is not just regular trash loot:

• Najena's Elemental Matrix - from The Fabled Najena
• Drelzna's Blighted Locket - from The Fabled Drelzna
• Rathyl's Reborn Phylactery - from Rathyl reincarnate
• Trazdon's Runed Binding Rod - from Trazdon
• BoneCracker's Fractured Manacle - from BoneCracker

When you have all five, tell Linara I have the Najena relics. She removes the relics, gives Collector's Earring of the Hollow Tower, and marks the collector step complete for that character.

Choose Your Fate

The opening puzzle is literal: Choose, Your, and Fate spawn from the disembodied voice tied to the paradigm. Killing one removes the trio briefly and spawns a boss in the cave behind it.

Choose spawns Arcanist of Zarrin. The Arcanist can call old friends, damage the hate-top target, and at 50 percent health spawns Trazdon. Arcanist drops Part of a Backpack (1/10) and can drop Hateful Harmony, the AE pacify clicky ring. Trazdon can carry Trazdon's Runed Binding Rod for Linara's relic quest.

Your spawns Magi P`Tasa. This is the looping mage encounter: Magi P`Tasa can spawn elementals, barrier itself briefly, and swap between script versions while preserving its health. It drops Part of a Backpack (2/10) and can drop Earring of the Eternal Eclipse.

Fate spawns Elite Eclipse Guardian. This guardian drops A Slimy Lens (1/4) and Part of a Backpack (3/10), and can drop Mask of Night.

Eclipse Guard And Nzambici

The Eclipse Guard chain is the path into Nzambici:

• Quarter Eclipse Guard summons a pet during the fight and spawns Half Eclipse Guard on death.
• Half Eclipse Guard summons a pet and spawns Three Quarter Eclipse Guard on death.
• Three Quarter Eclipse Guard calls Zomm into the fight and spawns Nzambici on death.

Nzambici spawns with a moon beast and announces the hate fires. Nzambici drops A Slimy Lens (2/4), Part of a Backpack (5/10), Quiver of Flame, Cursed Flame, Pokeball, and can drop a class armor upgrade token, Ravishing Ruby, and Antonican Traveler's Bag.

Insidious Beacon

Insidious Beacon is one of the required task kills and is also part of the backpack chain. It drops Part of a Backpack (4/10). The zone task expects this kill between Nzambici and The Dread Queen.

Spider Queen Event

The Dread Queen is the spider queen encounter. On aggro she announces the fight, then calls waves of a dread spiderling at health breaks:

• 85 percent: three spiderlings
• 55 percent: four spiderlings
• 25 percent: six spiderlings

The Dread Queen drops A Slimy Lens (3/4), Part of a Backpack (6/10), A Dark Swirl of Smoke, Full Moon of Darkness, and can drop Ravishing Ruby, powersource upgrade gem, class armor upgrade token, and Antonican Traveler's Bag.

Rathyl And Prison Lord Noryx

Rathyl can spawn Rathyl reincarnate on death. Rathyl reincarnate can carry Rathyl's Reborn Phylactery for Linara and is listed by Linara as the source of Part of a Backpack (7/10).

Prison Lord Noryx is the cellblock fight. At 80, 50, and 15 percent health he teleports a non-pet player from the hate list into different cells. Be ready to recover quickly if a key character gets jailed.

Prison Lord Noryx drops A Slimy Lens (4/4), Part of a Backpack (8/10), Innoruuk's Hateful Crystal, Aegis of Burning Hate, and can drop Ravishing Ruby, powersource upgrade gem, class armor upgrade token, and Antonican Traveler's Bag.

Lenses, Eyes, Dolls, And Puppetmaster

The four lenses are each handed to a matching eye. Each eye returns one A Tattered Puppet doll.

• A Slimy Lens (1/4) drops from Elite Eclipse Guardian and goes to the first unfocused eye.
• A Slimy Lens (2/4) drops from Nzambici and goes to the second unfocused eye.
• A Slimy Lens (3/4) drops from The Dread Queen and goes to the third unfocused eye.
• A Slimy Lens (4/4) drops from Prison Lord Noryx and goes to the fourth unfocused eye.

Give all four dolls to a paradigm of hate at the same time. This hand-in only needs to be done once per character. Afterward, hail the paradigm and say The Puppetmaster to summon The Puppetmaster of Xyron.

The Puppetmaster fight has several scripted pressure points:

• 75 percent: summons lost/wandering puppet adds.
• 50 percent: summons The Fabled Drelzna.
• 20 percent: summons The Fabled Najena.

The Fabled Drelzna can spawn skeletons during combat and drops Fabled Journeyman's Boots. Her script can add Drelzna's Blighted Locket for Linara.

The Fabled Najena spawns elemental focuses during combat, drops Part of a Backpack (9/10), and her script can add Najena's Elemental Matrix for Linara.

The Puppetmaster of Xyron drops Part of a Backpack (10/10), tier chest armor pieces, illusion items, Battleworn jewels, Ravishing Ruby, class armor upgrade tokens, and has a script chance to add Harbinger Amplification Nodule II.

Najena Backpack Chain

Collect all ten Part of a Backpack pieces and combine them in a Tier Upgrade Kit to make Badgeless Backpack.

After making Badgeless Backpack, combine it in the Tier Upgrade Kit with:

The final combine creates Folded Pack of Manaforged Plate (Basic).
