Easter Event Guide

The custom Easter event is Easter Island in Ocean of Tears (`oceanoftears`). This is a seasonal reward island built around repeatable Easter Bunny summons, add waves, basket drops, egg consumables, big bags, and powersource upgrade gems.

The launcher defines three Easter Island versions:

• Easter Island Beginners Lvl 30 - Ocean of Tears version 0.
• Easter Island Level 60 Sebilis Era - Ocean of Tears version 1.
• Easter Island End Game - Ocean of Tears version 2.

Access

The event is wired through Dizzy's dynamic-zone launcher in Greater Faydark. When the Easter Island toggle is enabled, Dizzy offers the three Easter Island versions and creates an `oceanoftears` expedition for the selected version.

The item The Easter Egg can also spawn a temporary Dizzy for the Easter event. It cannot be used in combat. When clicked, it flags the character and spawns Dizzy at the player's location for 60 seconds.

Easter DZ Stone - Easy parcels the three Easter DZ stones to the character: Easy, Medium, and Hard.

Bunny Summons

The Easter Island scripts use NPC hand-ins to unlock summon access. Each version expects a basket-style item, sets a character flag, and then lets the player say READY to summon the Easter Bunny. Each summon has a 1-minute cooldown, so once the basket hand-in is done the island becomes a repeatable bunny farm.

Encounter Mechanics

The Easter Bunny fights use HP-based add waves and periodic lifetap pressure. At 95%, 75%, 50%, and 25%, the bosses spawn random helper/add NPCs near themselves. The Sebilis and End Game versions also have a trick phase around 55% HP where the boss shouts, strips buffs, applies haste, and casts on the top hate target.

The End Game Bunny has an extra signal interaction: one of the add scripts signals the boss on death, healing the boss for part of its maximum HP and announcing that the gift of Easter keeps giving.

Why Farm Easter Island

Easter Island is a reward-dense event. The bunnies are the bag and basket bosses, while the spirits they spawn are the powersource gem farm.

Easter spirits	powersource upgrade gem	Spirits spawned during the bunny fights have a chance to drop powersource upgrade gems, so add waves are part of the reward loop instead of just fight pressure.

Easter Baskets And Eggs

The dropped Easter baskets are reusable click rewards. Clicking a basket reaches into its egg pool and summons one random egg, then starts a 1-hour basket cooldown for that character. Egg clicks have a short 6-second cooldown.

Egg Effects

Easter Damage Egg	Applies a group damage buff for 10 minutes.
Easter Loot Egg	Applies the Easter loot buff for 5 minutes. The plugin checks this buff on kills and can duplicate corpse loot.
Easter Damage Reduction Egg	Applies a group defensive buff for 5 minutes.
Easter of Healing	Heals the user for 50% of maximum HP.
Easter of Mana Restoration	Restores 50% of maximum mana.
Easter Egg of Damage Shield	Applies a group damage-shield style buff for 5 minutes.
Easter Egg of Curing	Casts the Easter cure effect and cleanses detrimental effects.
Easter of Extended Buffing	Doubles the remaining duration of eligible active buffs.

Zone Note

The public zone folder is `oceanoftears`. The older `oot` folder also exists on the server, but the new Easter Island event is the Ocean of Tears dynamic-zone version.
