Najena

Level Range: 40-50

Najena is the bridge from Unrest into Plane of Hate. The zone task is Explore The Najena Revamp and is assigned automatically when you zone in at level 40 or higher. The practical flow is: follow the opening Choose / Your / Fate bosses, clear the Eclipse Guard chain into Nzambici, collect four Slimy Lenses, wake four dolls from the eyes, then use the dolls to unlock repeatable Puppetmaster summons.

Quick Progression

1. Hail Linara Parlone at zone in if you want the collector and backpack reminders.
2. Kill Choose to spawn Arcanist of Zarrin.
3. Kill Your to spawn Magi P`Tasa.
4. Kill Fate to spawn Elite Eclipse Guardian.
5. During Elite Eclipse Guardian, watch for Trazdon at 50 percent health.
6. Kill Quarter Eclipse Guard, Half Eclipse Guard, and Three Quarter Eclipse Guard.
7. Kill Nzambici after the guard chain.
8. Kill Insidious Beacon.
9. Kill The Dread Queen.
10. Kill Rathyl and Prison Lord Noryx.
11. Turn each A Slimy Lens in to the matching unfocused eye to receive four A Tattered Puppet dolls.
12. Give all four dolls to a paradigm of hate once. After that, hailing the paradigm can summon The Puppetmaster of Xyron.

Linara Parlone

Linara Parlone is the Najena greeter and collector NPC. Hail her for zone guidance, the Najena relic collector quest, and the backpack guide.

Her collector quest asks for five relics. These are script-added relic chances, not ordinary guaranteed loot:

• Najena's Elemental Matrix - 50 percent script chance from The Fabled Najena.
• Drelzna's Blighted Locket - 50 percent script chance from The Fabled Drelzna.
• Rathyl's Reborn Phylactery - 50 percent script chance from Rathyl reincarnate.
• Trazdon's Runed Binding Rod - 50 percent script chance from Trazdon.
• BoneCracker's Fractured Manacle - 50 percent script chance from BoneCracker.

When you have all five, tell Linara I have the Najena relics. She removes the relics, gives Collector's Earring of the Hollow Tower, and marks the collector step complete for that character.

Choose, Your, And Fate

The opening puzzle is literal. Choose, Your, and Fate are the three starter targets. Killing one removes the trio briefly and spawns its linked boss.

Choose spawns Arcanist of Zarrin. The Arcanist can summon familiars, shadow-step a player away, and briefly shield itself. It drops Part of a Backpack (1/10) and can drop Hateful Harmony, Ravishing Ruby, powersource upgrade gem, and Minor Coin of Fate.

Your spawns Magi P`Tasa. This is the looping mage encounter: Magi P`Tasa can spawn elementals, teleport/shift around while preserving health, and briefly barrier itself. It drops Part of a Backpack (2/10) and can drop Earring of the Eternal Eclipse, Wand of Swords, Crystallized Sulfur, Ravishing Ruby, and powersource upgrade gem.

Fate spawns Elite Eclipse Guardian. This is the Guardian that matters for Trazdon. At 50 percent health, Elite Eclipse Guardian spawns Trazdon. That spawn is not a random placeholder roll; if the Guardian reaches its 50 percent health event, Trazdon appears. Elite Eclipse Guardian drops A Slimy Lens (1/4), Part of a Backpack (3/10), and can drop Mask of Night, Ravishing Ruby, powersource upgrade gem, and Minor Coin of Fate.

Trazdon is the follow-up spawn from Elite Eclipse Guardian, not Arcanist of Zarrin. Trazdon has a 50 percent script chance to carry Trazdon's Runed Binding Rod for Linara's collector quest. His normal loot includes Dark Circlet plus assorted caster cloth, jewelry, spell research drops, and gems.

Eclipse Guard Chain And Nzambici

After the opening trio, clear the Eclipse Guard chain:

• Quarter Eclipse Guard summons a pet during the fight and spawns Half Eclipse Guard on death.
• Half Eclipse Guard summons a pet and spawns Three Quarter Eclipse Guard on death.
• Three Quarter Eclipse Guard calls Zomm into the fight and spawns Nzambici on death.

Nzambici is the payoff encounter for that chain. He spawns with a pet and announces the hate fires. Nzambici drops A Slimy Lens (2/4), Part of a Backpack (5/10), Quiver of Flame, Cursed Flame, Pokeball, and can drop Antonican Traveler's Bag, Class Specific (Arena Armor) Upgrade Token +1 and +2, Ravishing Ruby, and Minor Coin of Fate.

Insidious Beacon

Insidious Beacon is one of the required task kills and is also part of the backpack chain. It drops Part of a Backpack (4/10). The zone task expects this kill between Nzambici and The Dread Queen.

Spider Queen Event

The Dread Queen is the spider queen encounter. On aggro she announces the fight, then calls waves of a dread spiderling at health breaks:

• 85 percent: three spiderlings.
• 55 percent: four spiderlings.
• 25 percent: six spiderlings.

The Dread Queen drops A Slimy Lens (3/4), Part of a Backpack (6/10), A Dark Swirl of Smoke, Full Moon of Darkness, and can drop Antonican Traveler's Bag, Class Specific (Arena Armor) Upgrade Token +1 and +2, Ravishing Ruby, powersource upgrade gem, and Minor Coin of Fate.

Rathyl And Prison Lord Noryx

Rathyl can spawn Rathyl reincarnate on death. Rathyl drops Part of a Backpack (7/10) and can drop powersource upgrade gem, Class Specific (Arena Armor) Upgrade Token +1 and +2, Dull Bone Key, Bloodstained Key, jewelry, and pouch/bag drops. Rathyl reincarnate has the 50 percent script chance for Rathyl's Reborn Phylactery.

Prison Lord Noryx is the cellblock fight. At 80, 50, and 15 percent health he teleports a non-pet player from the hate list into different cells. Be ready to recover quickly if a key character gets jailed.

Prison Lord Noryx drops A Slimy Lens (4/4), Part of a Backpack (8/10), Innoruuk's Hateful Crystal, Aegis of Burning Hate, and can drop Antonican Traveler's Bag, Class Specific (Arena Armor) Upgrade Token +1 and +2, Ravishing Ruby, powersource upgrade gem, and Minor Coin of Fate.

Lenses, Eyes, Dolls, And Puppetmaster

The four lenses are each handed to a matching unfocused eye. Each eye returns one A Tattered Puppet doll.

• A Slimy Lens (1/4) drops from Elite Eclipse Guardian and goes to the first unfocused eye for A Tattered Puppet.
• A Slimy Lens (2/4) drops from Nzambici and goes to the second unfocused eye for A Tattered Puppet.
• A Slimy Lens (3/4) drops from The Dread Queen and goes to the third unfocused eye for A Tattered Puppet.
• A Slimy Lens (4/4) drops from Prison Lord Noryx and goes to the fourth unfocused eye for A Tattered Puppet.

Give all four dolls to a paradigm of hate at the same time. This hand-in only needs to be done once per character. Afterward, hail the paradigm and say The Puppetmaster to summon The Puppetmaster of Xyron.

The Puppetmaster fight has several scripted pressure points:

• 75 percent: summons puppet minions.
• 50 percent: summons The Fabled Drelzna.
• 20 percent: summons The Fabled Najena.

The Fabled Drelzna can spawn skeletons during combat. She drops Fabled Journeyman's Boots, can still drop old Drelzna loot such as Journeyman's Boots, and has a 50 percent script chance to add Drelzna's Blighted Locket.

The Fabled Najena spawns elementals during combat. She drops Part of a Backpack (9/10), Fabled Flowing Black Robe, and can still drop old Najena loot such as Flowing Black Robe, Clawed Knuckle-Ring, and Black Tome with Silver Runes. Her script has a 50 percent chance to add Najena's Elemental Matrix.

The Puppetmaster of Xyron drops Part of a Backpack (10/10), Duskforged Abyssal Plate, Hauberk of Twilight Dominion, Eclipseforged Vigilant Tunic, Robe of Midnight Supremacy, Battleworn Jewel of Discord, Battleworn Jewel of the Planes, illusion visage items, Class Specific (Arena Armor) Upgrade Token +1 and +2, and Ravishing Ruby. On spawn, his script also has a 25 percent chance to add Harbinger Amplification Nodule II for the Eclipse Harbinger upgrade chain.

Najena Backpack Chain

Collect all ten Part of a Backpack pieces and combine them in a Tier Upgrade Kit to make Badgeless Backpack.

• Part of a Backpack (1/10) - Arcanist of Zarrin.
• Part of a Backpack (2/10) - Magi P`Tasa.
• Part of a Backpack (3/10) - Elite Eclipse Guardian.
• Part of a Backpack (4/10) - Insidious Beacon.
• Part of a Backpack (5/10) - Nzambici.
• Part of a Backpack (6/10) - The Dread Queen.
• Part of a Backpack (7/10) - Rathyl.
• Part of a Backpack (8/10) - Prison Lord Noryx.
• Part of a Backpack (9/10) - The Fabled Najena.
• Part of a Backpack (10/10) - The Puppetmaster of Xyron.

After making Badgeless Backpack, combine it in the Tier Upgrade Kit with:

• Mastery of Tutoring Badge
• Mastery of Befallen Badge
• Mastery of Unrest Badge

The final combine creates Folded Pack of Manaforged Plate (Basic).
