Katta Castellum Guide

Katta Castellum is the normal version 0 Katta guide. It follows Tenebrous Mountains and covers the marble-city encounter chain: the named mini bosses, the Kattan loyalty symbol, the Kattan Banner, Lcea Katta, Lord Inquisitor Seru, the Katta waffle upgrade, and the Twilight Sea key.

Katta Castellum The Upside Down is separate and has its own guide. Version 1 pressure mechanics belong there, not here.

Access

Katta access comes from the Envoy of Sel`Rheza in Tenebrous Mountains. Say "katta" to enter Katta Castellum version 0.

The access key from Tenebrous is The Key to Katta Castellum. Its global click script only works in Tenebrous Mountains. When clicked there, it grants Katta access to the clicker or same-IP group/raid members, then consumes the key.

Normal Mode Order

Work Katta in this order:

• Clear trash and named minis for cooking ingredients, loyalty symbols, and regular named loot.
• Combine the five loyalty symbols into The Symbol of Kattan Loyalty.
• Hand The Symbol of Kattan Loyalty to the Kattan Banner to spawn Lcea Katta.
• Kill Lcea Katta. She can spawn Lord Inquisitor Seru when she dies.
• Kill Lord Inquisitor Seru for the whisk and the stronger chance at the Twilight Sea key.
• Finish A Whipped Syrupy Ego Waffle if you are opening the Katta Upside Down path.
• Click Key to The Twilight Sea while inside Katta to unlock Twilight Sea access.

Named Minis And Loyalty Symbols

Several named minis feed the Kattan Banner unlock. Their symbols combine in a Tier Upgrade Kit to make The Symbol of Kattan Loyalty.

• Bella Helsin can drop Symbol of Bella Helsin.
• Heracus Helsin can drop Symbol of Heracus Helsin.
• Nathyn Illuminious can drop Symbol of Nathyn Illuminious.
• Yurddle the Caretaker can drop Symbol of Yurddle the Caretaker.
• Zyriazil can drop Symbol of Zyriazil.

Other named minis and scripted named in normal Katta carry useful side loot:

• Arbogast drops Ornate Carcanet, can drop Shimmering Mace, and can roll Baleen armor pieces.
• Miller drops Heavy Drape, can drop Rune Encrusted Short Sword, and can roll Baleen armor pieces.
• Condor drops Special Issue Combine Long Sword and Special Issue Combine Targ Shield.
• Vahn drops Dagger of the Eye and Superior Combine Dagger.
• Autarkic Lord Sfarosh drops Autarkic Shade Lord Robe.
• Incantator Jak Masric drops Incantator Robe and Incantator Staff.
• Praecantor Selis Dawneyes drops Praecantor Robe and Praecantor Staff.
• Theurgus Ajeea Polaja drops Theurgus Robe and Theurgus Staff.
• Legionnaires can drop Validus Custodus Battle Axe.

Katta Cooking Pieces

Katta normal upgrades the waffle chain into A Whipped Syrupy Ego Waffle, which is the access item for Katta Castellum The Upside Down.

There are two prep combines:

• fine powdered sugar is made in a Tier Upgrade Kit from ten powdered sugar. Powdered sugar drops from Legionnaires.
• fine sweetened cream is made in a Tier Upgrade Kit from five vanilla beans, two gargoyle milk, and three Praecantor thickener. Vanilla beans drop from Centurions, gargoyle milk drops from gargoyle custodians, and Praecantor thickener drops from Praecantors.

Then combine these in a mixing bowl:

• A Syrupy Ego Waffle.
• fine powdered sugar.
• fine sweetened cream.
• a kattan mixing bowl, from Lcea Katta.
• a whisk, from Lord Inquisitor Seru.

Right-click A Whipped Syrupy Ego Waffle out of combat to summon Eleven. Hail Eleven, pick Katta Castellum The Upside Down, and say "ready" after the dynamic zone is created.

Kattan Banner

The Kattan Banner starts the main normal-mode encounter.

Hand The Symbol of Kattan Loyalty to the banner. The script records your loyalty unlock and spawns Lcea Katta. After you have done the hand-in once, hailing the banner can raise Lcea again after its cooldown, as long as the banner encounter is not already active.

Lcea Katta

Lcea Katta is the main defender of normal Katta.

Mechanics:

• She shouts when spawned.
• At health breaks she fires close-range area damage.
• At two health breaks she calls nearby minions onto her top hate target.
• Incoming spell damage is reduced by her script.
• At very low health, Wrath of Luclin can punish nearby players, bots, and pets.
• On death, she has a chance to spawn Lord Inquisitor Seru.

Notable drops include:

• Key to The Twilight Sea.
• a kattan mixing bowl.
• Charm of the Shadows.
• Greatbow of Umbra.
• Masamune, the Skycutter.
• Penumbral Bow of the Mistress.
• Reforged Sword of Truth.
• Sigil Earring of Veracity.
• The Scepter of Shadows.
• Talisman of Vah Kerrath.
• Tablet of Blighted Runes.
• Thelin's Lunar Dream, Bemmy's Script of Pain, Belmont Issy's Shawl of Magic, and Veruca's Lunar Madness.
• Runestone and Timelost rewards, including Runestone of Nightmares, Runestone of Time, Timelost Scepter of Shadows, and Timelost Shield of Mental Fortitude.

Lord Inquisitor Seru

Lord Inquisitor Seru can spawn after Lcea Katta dies. Treat him as the follow-up boss, not a separate version of the zone.

Seru shares the major Katta reward style but has a stronger chance at Key to The Twilight Sea. He also drops a whisk, which is required for A Whipped Syrupy Ego Waffle.

Seru's notable loot includes the Twilight Sea key, a whisk, Yttrium armor pieces, Seru's Torque, Thelin's Lunar Dream, Bemmy's Script of Pain, Belmont Issy's Shawl of Magic, Veruca's Lunar Madness, and common jewel/gem rewards.

Zonewide Boss Rules

The parent Katta script upgrades eligible normal-mode bosses and many normal enemies.

• Bosses can call nearby minions at health breaks unless they are silenced.
• The silence check uses the Tome of Silencing effect from Neriak. Keeping bosses silenced prevents the radius help call.
• Bosses pulse a short-range life drain while engaged.
• Some enemies can trigger Wrath of Luclin near low health.
• Eligible deaths can spawn a burning umbral beast.

A burning umbral beast can drop Hunter Credit.

Dormant Unholy Chest

The dormant unholy chest belongs to normal Katta.

Bring Shard of Unholy Awakening from Quarm and stand close to the dormant chest. The chest watches for that shard, wakes up, and swaps into the active unholy chest.

The active chest is part of the unholy key thread, not the Katta Upside Down encounter.

After normal Katta, you have two valid paths:

• Katta Castellum The Upside Down - optional reflected Katta path opened with A Whipped Syrupy Ego Waffle.
• Twilight Sea - normal progression path if you are skipping Katta Upside Down. Use Key to The Twilight Sea inside Katta to unlock it.

Practical Route

Enter Katta version 0 from the Envoy in Tenebrous. Farm the five loyalty symbols first, then combine them into The Symbol of Kattan Loyalty. While clearing, collect powdered sugar, vanilla beans, gargoyle milk, and Praecantor thickener for the waffle upgrade.

Hand The Symbol of Kattan Loyalty to the Kattan Banner to spawn Lcea Katta. Kill Lcea for the Katta mixing bowl, Twilight Sea key chance, and main reward pool. If Seru spawns, kill him for the whisk and better Twilight Sea key chance.

Use the Twilight Sea key inside Katta to unlock the next zone. Use the whipped waffle only when you are ready to open Katta Castellum The Upside Down.
