Tenebrous Mountains Guide

Tenebrous Mountains follows Akheva Ruins. This zone is a mix of outdoor named hunting, sky/proximity crystal spawns, reflective shield construction, Reflectability setup, and the castle end boss Valdanov Zevfeer.

Only parent-folder Tenebrous scripts are covered here.

Access

Access comes from The Key to Tenebrous Mountains, which drops from Shei Vinitras in Akheva Ruins. The key is clicked in Akheva, grants Tenebrous access to the clicker or matching same-IP group/raid members, and consumes itself.

Parent Script Rules

The default Tenebrous script upgrades normal enemies and `#` named into Luclin difficulty.

Important rules:

  • `#` named are treated as bosses.
  • Bosses call nearby enemies onto their top hate target at health checkpoints unless Mark of Silence is active.
  • Bosses pulse short-range life drain while engaged.
  • Enemies can trigger Wrath of Luclin near low health.
  • Eligible deaths can spawn a burning umbral beast, which can drop Hunter Credit.

The Harbinger of Luclin works here as the Luclin zone puller. Use it carefully because the boss help-call radius and dense castle trash can turn one click into a large pull.

Hunt Task And Outdoor Minis

the hunt is on assigns The Hunt Is On VI for Tenebrous Mountains and consumes itself.

The task requires these targets:

  • a grol baku warlord.
  • a meeda hune warlord.
  • Skyshadow, three kills total.
  • a cral ligi warlord.
  • Xenithen Sterbla.
  • Trilexior Aeridia.
  • Emissary Oomgado.
  • Gorelaz Verilak.
  • Renaldok Masric.

Several of these same named also matter for the reflective shield route. The warlords and castle-style named can drop a reflective shield handle and a reflective shield frame. Common Tenebrous enemies can drop reflective binding glitter, half of a torn page, and the other half of a torn page.

The two torn page halves combine into The Hunt is on VI recipe entry. The hunt item itself starts the Tenebrous hunt task.

Named Loot Pass

Outdoor and castle minis share several Luclin drops:

  • Galactic Moon Stone.
  • Lunar Glub Juice.
  • Voidless Blaze.
  • Voidless Song.
  • Stat shards.
  • Reflective shield handle.
  • Reflective shield frame.

The older wood/stat-shard named group includes Bedlavar, Drovalak, Galinious, Krellices, Kristov Otto, Tymoz, Veynar Aeridia, and Yaroslav Verilak. These commonly drop gems, Piece of Wood, and stat shards.

The reflective-shield named group includes the warlords, Emissary Oomgado, Gorelaz Verilak, Renaldok Masric, Skyshadow, Trilexior Aeridia, Xenithen Sterbla, and Heratius Grolden. These are the important named to farm when preparing for Valdanov.

Reflective Umbralforge Shield is the required Valdanov mechanic item.

The recipe uses a Tier Upgrade Kit:

Keep the completed shield equipped in secondary for the Valdanov fight. The script checks the secondary slot of clients on Valdanov's hate list.

Reflectability Debuff

Castle Bosses And Heratius

The castle-style bosses use the same boss pattern: heavy tuning, help calls at health checkpoints, and Mark of Silence support to prevent the help call.

The key scripted castle bosses include:

  • Gorelaz Verilak.
  • Renaldok Masric.
  • Trilexior Aeridia.
  • Xenithen Sterbla.
  • Heratius Grolden.

Gorelaz, Renaldok, Trilexior, and Xenithen each have a chance on death to spawn Heratius Grolden at the castle location. Heratius has a one-hour despawn timer that pauses while engaged and restarts if the fight resets.

Killing Heratius always spawns Valdanov Zevfeer. Heratius can also respawn himself on a chance if another Heratius is not already up, so the castle can continue to cycle.

Valdanov Zevfeer

Valdanov is the main Tenebrous end boss.

Mechanics:

  • One-hour hard despawn.
  • Five-minute out-of-combat despawn.
  • Starts invulnerable.
  • Applies a visual/nimbus effect on spawn.
  • Every few seconds in combat, checks whether Reflectability is active and whether a client on hate has Reflective Umbralforge Shield equipped in secondary.
  • If the shield/debuff check passes, he becomes vulnerable.
  • If the debuff falls or no hated client has the shield equipped, he becomes invulnerable again.
  • At health checkpoints, he calls nearby castle minions unless Mark of Silence is active.

Fight plan: have the shield holder pull or immediately get on hate, apply Reflectability before or at pull, keep Reflectability refreshed, and keep Mark of Silence ready for help-call checkpoints.
