Kaesora

Kaesora is the first Kunark step after Kurn's Tower. The zone is built around disturbing old royal Iksar remains, spawning scripted bosses, and collecting the first royal pieces that push the Kunark chain forward.

Main Progression

Find the old glowing iksar bones. When you get close, the bones warn that they should not be disturbed.
Hail the bones to spawn Vampire Lord Chosooth. The script has a short lockout, so if the bones only pulse faintly, wait for the timer to expire and hail again.
Kill Vampire Lord Chosooth and loot [a lesser paradoxical royal iksar scale].
Take the scale to remains of a king and hand it in. This flags your character for that remains NPC and spawns Atrebe Sathir, Son of Rile.
After you have done the scale hand-in once, you do not need another scale for that same character. Hail the remains afterward to spawn Atrebe again, subject to the short cooldown.

Vampire Lord Chosooth

Chosooth shouts when engaged and summons a young sokokar every 20 seconds. Kill the adds or keep them controlled while burning him down.

[Necklace of the True Creator] - 50%.
[Choker of Atrebe Sathir] - 50%.

Atrebe Sathir

Atrebe Sathir spawns from the remains of a king after the scale hand-in, or by hailing the remains again after you have done the hand-in once. When combat starts, he calls royal guards after 40 seconds, then reinforces every 60 seconds. Expect add pressure unless the fight is controlled.

[Helm of Temporal Flux] - 100%.
[Symbol of Sathirian Royalty] - 100%. Read the lore and keep it for the chapter turn-in.
[A paradoxical dragon bone] - 30%.
[Necklace of the True Creator] - 50%.
[Choker of Atrebe Sathir] - 50%.

Useful Notes

Chosooth's sokokars and Atrebe's royal guards can drop [powersource upgrade gem].
The instance porter can send a solo player or group into a private Kaesora instance for four hours.
The next progression stop is Frontier Mountains.
