Frontier Mountains is the Droga access zone. It combines a kill-and-key task from Gilthanas with a separate Vazaelle encounter at the ruins.

Main Progression: Temple of Droga Access

Hail Gilthanas Norrathis to receive Temple of Droga Access.

The task sends you through the mountain giant and time-displaced areas:

• Kill 5 Mountain Giant Braes.
• Kill 5 Mountain Giant Craigs.
• Kill 5 Mountain Giant Hillocks.
• Kill 5 Mountain Giant Tumps.
• Loot [Part of a Key (1/3)] from Eldak Howlingbear.
• Loot [Part of a Key (2/3)] from Mentrax Mountainbone.
• Kill 10 a time displaced shissar.
• Loot [Part of a Key (3/3)] from The Greenmist Beast.

Combine the three key pieces with the key mold in the tier kit to make [Key to The Temple of Droga]. Give the finished key and the three pieces to Gilthanas to receive the Droga zone flag.

The Greenmist Beast

The Greenmist Beast is the custom named tied to the third key piece. On engage it shouts, then every 40 seconds it casts either Rage of the Displaced or Timestorm on its target.

Notable drop:

Vazaelle at the Ruins

The pile of ruin rubble accepts:

• [A paradoxical piece from a ruin] (1/2)
• [A paradoxical piece from a ruin] (2/2)

After that hand-in, your character can hail the rubble to spawn Vazaelle Kaleine. The hail has a 10-minute cooldown.

Vazaelle has two forms:

• First form transforms at 50% health.
• Second form, Vazaelle Kaleine the Mad, summons skeletons every 20 seconds, casts Ritual of Despair every 40 seconds, and uses Cazic's Embrace every 60 seconds.

Notable drops from the second form:

• [Evil Glare of The Mad] - 50%.
• [Vazaelle's Shawl of Insanity] - 50%.

Access Forward

After Droga, [Key to The Mines of Nurga] can be handed to Gilthanas to grant Nurga access.
