The Thanksgiving event is implemented through the Beholder vinyl system. Hand '''Turkey in the Straw''' to '''LL Cool Bard''' to spawn '''Featherblight the Gluttonous'''.

== Starting The Event ==

Go to Beholder and hand '''Turkey in the Straw''' to '''LL Cool Bard'''. The record item ID is 67750.

LL Cool Bard will only spawn Featherblight if the boss is not already up. If Featherblight is already spawned, clear that encounter first.

== Featherblight Mechanics ==

'''Featherblight the Gluttonous''' detects the highest era represented by clients in the zone and stores it as the spawned era. The active script checks for Planes of Power, Luclin, Velious, Kunark, then Antonica/Hate-era flags.

On spawn, Featherblight applies era-based stats through the shared '''ApplyEraStats''' plugin. In Planes of Power era, it gains an additional HP and damage boost.

Featherblight calls add waves at:

* 80 percent health
* 60 percent health
* 40 percent health
* 20 percent health

Each add wave spawns 10 adds chosen from:

* a cornfed destroyer
* a cranberry clucker

The adds also detect era and apply era stats. Antonica-era adds are reduced, while Planes of Power adds receive an additional boost.

== Loot Logic ==

Featherblight seeds one era-based loot item after combat begins. If the corpse somehow has no loot at death, the death script force-adds one era item.

Each era has a normal item pool and a 20 percent chance to upgrade the selected item to a rare version.

'''Velious era''' can award Velious-themed versions such as Winters Bite Powercore, Talisman of the Winter Gale, Tureen of the Frozen Moon, Bludgeon of Frostbanes Chosen, or Ice-Coated Chainmail.

'''Luclin era''' can award Luclin-themed versions such as Moondust-Coated Chainmail, Scepter of the Lunar Coven, Vessel of Ssraeshzas Guard, Heart of the Umbral Chorus, or Talisman of the Harvest Moon.
